How We Process Your
Sacred Drops
Collection
Step 1: You Pump, We Preserver
You work hard to pump that liquid gold, and you’ve been freezing it in neat little bags. Once you have the amount you want freeze-dried, it’s time to pick packaging
+ schedule a pickup.

Step 2: Pickup & Cool Storage
We’ll arrange a meet-up to collect your frozen milk stash. At pickup, we’ll make sure the milk stays frozen by checking the temperature and carefully placing it in our special cooler. No melting here!
Sublimation
Step 3: Time to Freeze-Dry
Next, we transport your milk safely back to our processing space. Your breast milk stays in frozen mode until it’s ready to start the freeze-drying magic.

The Freeze-Drying Magic (or sublimation)
We start by placing your frozen milk on sanitized trays, and then it goes into the freeze dryer where all the water in your milk disappears—leaving behind nothing but pure, nutrient-packed powdered goodness!
Back to Home
Step 5: Packaging
Once the freeze-drying is done, we gently crush your milk into a fine powder using our sanitized, gloved hands. Your breast milk is then packaged into secure, sealed pouches, ready to last up to three whole years!

Step 6: Store It, Use It, Love It
Your freeze-dried breast milk is shelf-stable and perfect for all the moments you need it—whether it’s bottle-feeding, mixing into solids, or using it for skincare.
From pumping to powder, we’ve got you covered! Trust us to handle your milk with care every step of the way. Let’s make the breast of your milk last even longer!
How to Safely Use Freeze-Dried Breast Milk Powder

Just like powdered formula, freeze-dried breast milk isn’t sterile. So, here’s how to keep it safe for your baby, following CDC guidelines:

1. Check Your Powder – Make sure the package is in good shape and not expired. + Keep scoops clean!

2. Mix it Right – Follow the rehydration instructions on your container exactly. For preemies, babies younger than 3 months, or those with weak immune systems, you’ll want to take an extra step to be safe:
-
Clean your workspace (countertops, stovetop, sinks, etc.).
-
Boil water and let it cool for about 5 minutes (to around 158°F/70°C).
-
Pour into a clean bottle or cup and add the right amount of powder and water, then shake the bottle up.

3. Cool It Down – To use the milk right away, cool it to body temperature. You can run the bottle under cool water, just be sure no water gets in the bottle or on the nipple.

4. Check the Temp – Test the milk on the inside of your wrist. It should feel warm but not hot.

5. Leftovers? – If your baby doesn’t finish, use the rest within 2 hours. After that, it’s time to toss it! (You can also just add this to a bath time instead)
